APTA-MS 2023 Fall Conference – Call for Presentations

Are you interested in presenting at the APTA-Mississippi Annual Conference this Fall?  Do you know a colleague or industry partner that may make for a great session for member education?APTA-Mississippi‘s Call for Presentations is now open for the 2023 Fall Conference, to be held on September 8-9, 2023 at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS. 

This year’s conference will be hybrid, meaning we will have both in-person and virtual options.  Plus, it will feature several pre-recorded, on-demand breakout sessions that you may view anytime.  This format should provide maximum flexibility for our members across the state.APTA-Mississippi is the only professional organization representing physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in Mississippi. The purpose of the Fall Conference is to foster advancements in physical therapy practice, research, and education. Speaking at the APTA-Mississippi Fall Conference is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and enthusiasm.We welcome PTs, PTAs, and all others with expertise in the topic of their presentation to present a proposal for this meeting.  Sessions will be 1-2 hours in length (Unless requested otherwise)

SPEAKER INFORMATION
All conference education presentations are limited to two speakers.  We welcome PTs, PTAs, and all others with expertise in the topic of their presentation to submit a proposal for this conference.

HOW TO APPLY / SUBMIT TO PRESENT
To submit a session for consideration, please send a session title and 2-3 sentence description to conference chair Dr. Judy Prehn at JPrehn@wmcarey.edu. The review committee will make selections and will notify successful speakers shortly thereafter.  The deadline to submit is May 20, 2023.
